Summary
Join our team as an Azure Infrastructure Release Engineer and manage the deployment, release, and support of cloud infrastructure in Azure. Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in Azure technologies with exposure into following technologies
- Obtain Certification in azure
- Demonstrate proficiency in Azure services, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and security features
- Possess experience with tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, and Ansible to automate infrastructure management
- Show familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools for automating build and release processes
- Have a strong ability to diagnose issues with cloud infrastructure and services
- Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams like development and operations
Responsibilities
- Develop automated pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform, or PowerShell to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure
- Build and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the release process for infrastructure updates and applications
- Ensure that the infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and security
- Plan and coordinate the release of cloud infrastructure updates, ensuring minimal downtime and risk to production systems
- Manage release schedules, version control, and rollback strategies in case of failure
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that infrastructure updates align with application requirements and organizational policies
- Address issues related to infrastructure releases, troubleshoot failures, and provide ongoing support for Azure environments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, security best practices, and company policies regarding data protection, access control, and auditing
