Senior Back End Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Backend Developer .NET and contribute to a cloud-based online banking project. You will work in an agile environment, utilizing a microservices architecture and CI/CD pipeline. This role requires strong C# skills and experience building commercial software. Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of experience in building commercial software
• Possess strong knowledge of C#
• Have a desire to work with AWS to build cloud-based solutions (the company is open to sponsoring relevant courses)
• Have experience in Unit test frameworks and API/Load testing approaches
• Be eager to learn new technologies and adopt new approaches
• Have a basic understanding of web security mechanisms and protocols
• Have intermediate+ English skills (ability to read, write and speak about technical details of a project)
• Maintain friendly and positive communication
• Be able to adjust the working schedule for at least 2-3 hours overlap with colleagues in US Pacific time zone

Responsibilities

• Write and document high-quality code in C#
• Follow existing in-house development standards, well-known patterns and executing practices like code review, git flow, test driven development
• Write unit and integration tests
• Design and document web service APIs
• Write and maintain technical documentation related to a project (API, component diagrams etc.)
• Build and support a full continuous delivery and deployment pipeline for projects
• Collaborate with a distributed team of product managers, developers and QA
• Share best practices and knowledge with colleagues for re-use by other teams internally

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of latest C# features and experience with both legacy and modern .NET versions
• Have experience with TypeScript (we use React)
• Have an understanding of microservice architecture patterns
• Have experience with NoSQL databases
• Have experience in building Serverless applications (AWS based)
• Have experience with Kubernetes/Docker
• Have experience with Octopus
• Have experience with microfrontends (webpack module federation)
