Senior Backend Developer

Summary

Join intent as a freelance Senior Backend Developer to work on diverse IoT projects. You will leverage your expertise in backend and cloud technologies to build and maintain scalable backend and cloud solutions. The projects include a smart bracelet, smart glucometer, and an automotive project for electric vehicles. You will collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams. Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Timestream, EMR)
• Experience with node.js/next.js
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure management
• Experience with MQTT for messaging protocols
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab
• Advanced knowledge of backend development, cloud architecture, and distributed systems
• English proficiency (min. B2)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend and cloud solutions for IoT projects
• Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments
• Develop high-performance and secure backend services
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
• Improve system reliability by fixing issues reported by the QA team
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in AWS & Cloud Infrastructure – you know your way around AWS services and cloud-native architectures
• Strong backend development skills – solid experience in building scalable, high-performance applications
• Keeping up with industry trends – staying ahead of the latest backend and cloud developments
• Experience with node.js and next.js
