Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Aircall, a fast-growing B2B startup, as a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Platform team. You will design, develop, deploy, and operate business-critical features that add customer value. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of experience in back-end development with Ruby/Ruby On Rails/Typescript/NodeJS, and has worked extensively with AWS in a production environment.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in back-end development with some of those languages Ruby / Ruby On Rails / Typescript / NodeJS, with a focus on delivering for security, scalability, reliability and performance
• Worked extensively with AWS in a production environment, preferably for high volume / high availability services
• Autonomous with a proven track record in delivering complex projects in time and scope

Responsibilities

• Build and operate distributed, real-time services powering core of our product
• Using Ruby and Typescript / Node.js, build, test and deploy applications and systems
• Own meaningful parts of our service, have an impact, grow with the company
• Lead architectural decisions for new and existing services
• Drive projects that increase platform’s resilience and scalability
