Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Career Renew's client as a Senior Backend Engineer - Blockchain in a fully remote role, with a preference for London, Zurich, Israel, or New York (European locations also considered). This is a first-of-its-kind perpetuals DEX engineered for Real World Assets (RWAs), enabling trading of assets previously unavailable on-chain. You will design and implement scalable backend services, develop and maintain frontend applications, and integrate web3 functionalities. The role requires a strong understanding of blockchain technology and DeFi systems, and collaboration with various teams. Requirements

• 3+ years Typescript development with strong backend
• Backend leaning role - very strong Nodejs and related technologies
• Based in London, Zurich, Israel, New York or anywhere in Europe
• Willing to travel to London once a quarter

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL
• Develop and maintain our frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Architect and integrate web3 functionalities throughout our tech stack
• Design and implement caching solutions using Redis to optimize application performance
• Build and maintain API integrations between frontend and backend systems
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security across all system components
• Collaborate with the team on technical architecture decisions and implementation strategies
• Work closely with product and design teams to implement new features
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practices
