Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Experience of 3 to 5 years in backend development with Python
• Solid knowledge of FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Flask or Django)
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and Celery
• Knowledge of queue-based messaging and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and effective communication
• Intermediate level of technical English (reading and writing)
• Availability for remote work during LATAM hours

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs using FastAPI
• Implement asynchronous processes and queue-based messaging with tools like Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS or Pub/Sub
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases and caching systems with Redis
• Integrate and perform advanced searches with Elasticsearch
• Participate in deployments and orchestration of microservices with Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure the quality and scalability of the solutions
