Summary

Join Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, as a Senior Backend Engineer in Spain. You will be responsible for creating, developing, improving, and maintaining Fever's services. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns, proficiency in business English, and experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases. You will be fully integrated into the team, participating in plannings, groomings, and retrospectives. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns
  • Proficiency in business English
  • Ability to deliver code from development to production
  • Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Fever services to enhance user experience
  • Create production-grade Python code to handle high traffic levels
  • Define solutions to complex problems, from architecture design to implementation
  • Analyze user data and evolve the platform to meet user needs
  • Participate in the launch of new microservices
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and pair programming

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Django/Flask
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Redis
  • Experience with Celery with RabbitMQ
  • Experience working on agile methodology
  • Experience with event communication between services
  • Experience handling services with more than 1000 requests/second
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
