Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Frontify's Product Platform team as a Senior Backend Engineer and contribute to the scalability and performance of our product. Implement high-quality features and improvements in a modern web application, designing solutions that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability. Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams. Work closely with other developers through pair programming and code reviews. Requirements

• You can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or join us on-site in our St. Gallen office , with the flexibility to choose your best work environment
• You're experienced in backend software engineering, while having basic frontend engineering knowledge is useful
• Ideally, you code with PHP or are willing to learn
• You love to write readable, reusable, scalable, and well-tested code
• You don't shy away from dealing with legacy code
• You fend off the dreaded 'big ball of mud' by keeping coupling low, cohesion high, and SOLID principles close at heart
• You hold strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• You speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of TypeScript and other languages is welcome
