Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

The job is for a remote Mimir Engineer position at Grafana Labs, responsible for maintaining and improving the Mimir OSS project and Grafana Cloud Metrics. The role requires solid experience with programming languages, collaboration and communication skills, and experience delivering projects in a self-driven manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Experience working with Kafka
• Been a user of Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles or on-call experience
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems, or desire to learn
• Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks or infrastructure as code
