Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Possess excellent development skills including design, debugging and problem solving
• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
• Have experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, etc.)
• Have experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Have experience working with distributed systems
• Have experience with some of the following tools: Docker, Git, GitHub, Flask, NumPy, Pandas

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large and performant data pipelines
• Design and implement robust and scalable distributed systems
• Build and deploy machine learning models into production
• Create and maintain robust infrastructure
• Collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers
• Build data driven microservices leveraging RESTful APIs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other OO languages (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
