Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Parloa as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a key role in developing the leading enterprise solution for automated dialogs. You will design and develop efficient backend solutions using Node.js/Typescript, evaluate new technologies, and share your expertise with the team. This position requires 5+ years of backend engineering experience, proficiency in NodeJS, Typescript, MongoDB, and Docker, and a passion for clean, modular code. Requirements

• Proficiency in backend engineering that you have mastered during your 5+ years of work experience
• Passion for writing clean and modular code that is easy to maintain, update, test and scale
• Solid work experience with OOP-Typescript, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Docker
• Eagerness to take ownership of a task from inception to completion without losing focus of the business context

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient backend solutions based on Node.js/Typescript running containerized as highly scalable applications in Kubernetes clusters
• Evaluate new technologies and their integration into our current codebase in the form of research sprints
• Share your technical knowledge with your peers, so the whole team can benefit from each other’s experiences
• Actively exchange code review feedbacks with other software engineers, considering both style and implementation
