Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Be a Vietnamese citizen or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam
• Work full-time, requiring 40 hours of work per week
• Possess strong logical thinking, be skilled at analyzing and solving problems, and have good communication abilities
• Demonstrate strong English proficiency and communicate fluently with team members and stakeholders across various regions, particularly with the US team
• Have solid knowledge of data structures, programming skills, engineering capabilities, and clean coding practices
• Be proficient in Go, experienced with gRPC, and capable of writing efficient and robust server-side programs
• Be familiar with Python and its commonly used frameworks and technology stacks, such as Flask, Pandas, etc
• Be familiar with common databases such as Mysql, Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB
• Be proficient in common Git commands and workflows, particularly those related to GitHub pull requests
• Be fluent in English for communication with international teams

Responsibilities

• Work an average of 8 hours a day, allowing for flexibility and autonomy
• Allocate time for daily communication and prompt response with the team, ensuring efficient task completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience with remote work
• Be available during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm and 5 am Vietnam Time) or at least a 5-hour overlap between 9 pm and 2 am Vietnam Time for effective collaboration across teams in different time zones
