Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production backend systems with Python
• Strong expertise in MySQL, including query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization
• Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture best practices
• Proven ability to create scalable, distributed systems
• Solid understanding of web security principles and implementation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and code quality tools
• A track record of mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services with Python, setting technical standards and leading architectural decisions
• Architect and optimize MySQL schemas, write efficient queries, and implement caching strategies for high performance
• Manage and enhance AWS services like EC2, RDS, and S3 for robust, scalable cloud solutions
• Create secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to support frontend applications
• Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, and drive engineering best practices
