Senior Backend Engineer, Python (Pricing & Hedging Services)

Summary

Join our industry-changing team as a Senior Software Engineer in the Pricing and Hedging (P&H) team, responsible for writing, reviewing, and maintaining clean and scalable code over all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• You have a long track record with Python and RestAPI knowledge built up in product based companies
• Experience in relational and NoSQL databases and deep knowledge on API design, websockets, network communication
• Excellent communicator with leadership skills to drive initiatives in technical level
• Experience in event streams, message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS

Responsibilities

• Drive key technical decisions that influence our architecture, engineering practices and team vision
• Develop clean, maintainable, scalable and testable software for high performant backend systems with Python
• Work on loosely coupled microservices for the core business to support the entire organisation
• Help us to transform our systems to the next level and increase adoption of our event driven architecture
• Solve multi-dimensional problems that you never knew existed before
