Join a company that cares. Wellhub is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Anti-Fraud team in Brazil, responsible for building an anti-fraud system and collaborating with multiple teams.

Requirements

• Have solid experience in the design and implementation of at least 1 medium-to-large-sized system in any programming language
• You can work both autonomously and collaborate in a team environment
• You are able to present your work in a meeting setting in English, or Portuguese
• Extensive experience working with any of the following programming languages: Java/Kotlin/Node.js/Go (the team uses Go)

Responsibilities

• Discuss the design and build an anti-fraud system for Wellhub
• Collaborate with multiple teams and data scientists to identify possible fraud vectors
• Decide which actions should be taken and build the system that will allow data scientists to create rules and ML models to identify and prevent fraud from taking place
• Your work will have a direct impact on the health of the Wellhub' marketplace, finances, and in the continued success of the company
