Join SandboxAQ's Cybersecurity group as a talented software engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation cryptography and credential management solutions. You will work across the stack (backend, frontend, infrastructure) to design and implement scalable cloud-based systems for secure credential management in enterprise environments. This role involves working with cryptography, key management, policy enforcement, and distributed systems. You'll collaborate with a diverse team to rapidly bring the product to market. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working as a Backend/Fullstack Software Engineer or equivalent
- Proficiency in Golang with a strong understanding of data structures and concurrency/synchronization
- Experience working with various enterprise Key Management Systems and solid understanding of current available solutions/technologies for both cloud and on-prem deployments
- Experience developing distributed, highly available, performant and scalable infrastructure solutions and applications
- Ability to work in a small team to rapidly iterate and release production quality grade software
Responsibilities
- Build core features around credential issuance, distribution, rotation, and revocation while integrating with a variety of enterprise environments
- Design and implement security-centric frameworks leveraging open source and proprietary frameworks
- Develop scalable, performant and highly available solutions oriented at different security problems and environments, for infrastructure both on cloud and on-prem
- Understand existing security paradigms and solutions, and contribute to building additional security capabilities in those systems
- Automate, deploy, diligently test and maintain software as part of a long-lasting software engineering cycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Rust
- Experience developing an OS daemon or sidecar
- Experience working with relational databases
- Familiarity with AuthN/AuthZ concepts and common frameworks/solutions used in large scale deployments
- Exposure to fullstack development involving a React/TypeScript frontend
- Knowledge of Linux systems and related computer networking fundamentals
