This remote or semi-remote position (Ireland-based) involves collaborating with designers and marketers on high-value projects. You will contribute to building new web pages and sections, improving web infrastructure, resolving performance bottlenecks, and writing efficient code. • Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React
• Self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, marketers and the wider team to build new pages new sections, entirely new web properties
• Maintain and improve web infrastructure using existing solutions and investigating new ones
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring fast and efficient web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Actively provide feedback for design work, from an engineering perspective
• Identify key areas on the site and build tests to improve reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong portfolio of elegant, performant websites
• A track record of collaboration with design, marketing and technical teams
• Frontend: Advanced level of proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies including React, Sass, GatsbyJS, NextJS
• Backend: Proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks, primarily NodeJS
• An affinity for data and comfort collaborating with growth teams on fast-paced experimentation to drive outcomes. Experience with tools like Full Story, Optimizely, PostHog are a nice to have
• Familiarity with technical SEO best practices and optimizations
