Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics (or other quantitative focus)
- PowerBI – Dashboard development, wireframing, tip-to-tail development; should be a strong storyteller through visualization tools
- SQL – Intermediate user; Will be supported by data engineering, but should be able to run and troubleshoot complex queries without assistance of external resources
- Microsoft Excel – Advanced Pivot Tables/Formulas; PowerPivot/PowerQuery a plus
- Must be organized individual with ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, work independently and collaboratively, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must be able to communicate highly technical findings and project progress effectively with both technical and & non-technical stakeholders including the Senior Leadership team; client-facing experience a plus
- Must have a passion for intuitively using data and strong critical thinking skills to solve business problems
Responsibilities
- Own dashboarding, beginner to intermediate modeling & forecasting, data QC and data shaping, template buildouts, adhoc projects, and automation opportunities
- Ability to see a problem and solve a problem; Will coordinate directly with Data Engineering, in addition to others and serve as a liaison between departments and primary point of contact on related collaborative projects
- Strategize with clients, analysts, and department leaders to identify gaps in projected vs actual performance and get to the “what”, “why”, and “where we go from here”
- Provide support with training/on-boarding initiatives for Analysis, tools, and directional learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Looker experience a plus
- Python/R – Basic familiarity with programming languages preferred but not required
- Predictive Modeling – Regression, Decision Trees, Clustering experience a major plus
