Summary

Join LINQ as a Senior Business Analyst to focus on creating and confirming software development requirements for State Nutrition projects. Collaborate with technical teams, manage stakeholders, support project managers, and contribute to continuous improvement. Requires proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools (e.g., ADO, BRDs, Visio)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation and Documentation
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for State Nutrition software projects
  • Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design software solutions that align with business needs
  • Conduct gap analysis between current systems and proposed solutions, recommending improvements and innovations
  • Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and project managers to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to update on project progress and resolve issues
  • Support project managers in planning, executing, and tracking project milestones
  • Participate in quality assurance processes, including review of test plans and test cases to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in business analysis
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to provide informed recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on custom software development
