Senior Business Analyst

Summary

Join WatchGuard as a Senior Business Analyst and contribute to the company's success by providing data-driven insights to various business teams. Reporting to the Director of Reporting and Analytics, you will build and maintain Tableau reports, write SQL queries, and ensure data quality. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and expertise in Microsoft Excel. Requirements

• Individual must be a team-oriented self-starter with good problem-solving skills and ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company
• Must be an expert at Microsoft Excel with exceptionally strong formula and data analytics skills
• Attention to detail and quality control are critical
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High energy level – willingness and desire to do what is needed to get the job done
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technology business, finance or sales/business operations environment required
• Background in Business Analysis providing insight to senior leadership
• 3+ Tableau or similar reporting software, including use of parameters, permissions, hierarchies
• 2+ years SQL. Queries, procedures, and basic database design
• Experience with million plus datasets

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Tableau reports
• SQL Query writing
• Take ownership of project requirements and timelines
• Advise management about business trends using strong analysis skills
• Monitor data quality for several data pipelines
• Become subject matter expert on point of sale, discount reserves, product performance and device activation
• Partner with Leadership, Sales, and Marketing to provide quality, actionable, and efficient reporting/analysis
• Stay current on product, internal/external partner, and distributor changes
