Summary

Join Hitachi Vantara as a Senior Business Analyst and play a key role in bridging finance operations and technology. Lead the design and implementation of Oracle EBS solutions, focusing on General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Procurement, Fixed Assets, and Tax domains. Analyze and improve business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend automation or system enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship, and ensure alignment of project goals. Monitor payment cycles and procurement workflows, implementing improvements in Oracle Financial areas. Support ERP upgrades and automation initiatives, providing timely project updates. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Oracle EBS and related data tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance operations with a focus on GL and AP/Procurement
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Oracle EBS and related data tools

Responsibilities

  • Configure and design Finance solutions in Oracle EBS R12.2.13
  • Create and maintain functional documentation (BRDs, FSDs, TSDs, test scripts)
  • Lead the design, testing, and deployment of new business functionality and enhancements
  • Support RICEFW development and testing
  • Analyze and improve business processes around GL and AP/Procurement, Fixed Assets and Tax
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend automation or system enhancements
  • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
  • Support audit and compliance efforts with accurate data and documentation
  • Work with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of project goals
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other analysts and team members
  • Monitor payment cycles, invoice processing, and procurement workflows
  • Identify and implement improvements in the Oracle Financial Areas listed
  • Support ERP upgrades and automation initiatives
  • Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and change requests
