Summary
Join Vesta Healthcare, a specialized medical group dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with long-term home care needs, as a Senior Business Analyst (aspiring product manager) or Associate Product Manager. This role is crucial in developing and overseeing our platform, including homegrown tools, data integrations, and our Electronic Medical Record (EMR). You will be responsible for aligning business requirements with our product strategy and roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features, and resolving any roadblocks to ensure a smooth rollout. This position offers the opportunity to drive key features and significantly impact patient care outcomes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in product management within the healthcare industry
- A proven track record in managing internal products
- Grit and wants to lean in and accelerate their product career within a high growth healthcare organization
- Ability to multi-task - specifically juggle competing priorities and keep multiple teams of stakeholders in sync with progress against all priorities
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Worked with JIRA (or a related project management tool) under an Agile methodology
Responsibilities
- Represent product management by assessing, analyzing and inserting our patient, client and customer needs into the delivery of all key features
- Collaborate with IT, clinical teams, operations, growth, and external partners to ensure that projects delivered meet the business objectives
- Develop and oversee Jira tickets that align to the project, including but not limited to creating stories, leading grooming ceremonies, managing timeline expectations, testing features before deployment and owning feature documentation
- Manage and enhance our product planning and discovery procedures, leveraging prior experience to improve our efficiency over time
- Oversee product defects, including but not limited to tracing and gathering defect details to replicate issues, prioritizing with engineering and communicating with stakeholders when fixes are deployed
- Work closely with the Vesta engineering team to both plan and implement projects big and small
- Lead scrum ceremonies and clearly communicate blockers to product management and/or operational leadership
- Train stakeholders on new functionality and serve as the expert on both the feature and the healthcare workflow to ensure an optimal user experience
