Summary

Join us as an ambitious and driven Senior Business Development Manager to help lead our expansion in Ontario, a market bursting with potential in the rapidly growing EV charging industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years. of proven experience in enterprise sales, preferably within a B2B technology or solution-focused environment. Experience working in sustainability, EV charging, or energy management a plus
  • Proven success in securing and managing Tier 1 accounts
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose innovative solutions
  • Strong team collaboration skills, working effectively in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to all stakeholders, including executives
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage CRM and sales analytics tools
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Assessment: Use your strategic insights to evaluate incoming opportunities and determine which align with FLO's objectives, ensuring long-term value creation
  • Team Selling: Partner with colleagues from sales, marketing, product development, and more to deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions to clients
  • Big Game Hunting: Proactively identify and engage high-value prospects and Tier 1 accounts. Use a consultative approach to connect with key decision-makers and win new business
  • Enterprise Sales Leadership: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs and exceed their expectations
  • Technical Writing & RFPs: Work with cross-functional teams to produce persuasive, high-quality proposals, presentations, and other client-facing documents
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Stay on top of EV charging trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Pipeline Management: Keep your sales pipeline well-organized and up-to-date, providing accurate forecasts and regular reports to management
  • Tier 1 Account Management: Build long-lasting relationships with Tier 1 clients, understanding their business needs and positioning FLO’s solutions as essential to their success
  • Utility & Government Incentive Programs & Grants: Leverage your knowledge of utility incentives and government grants to create compelling proposals that help close deals
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, developing MSAs that enable scalable, local activations
