Summary

Join Gambling.com Group, a multi-award-winning provider of marketing and sports data services, as a Senior Content Editor. Lead the editorial quality and consistency of casino content across all English-speaking markets. You will own the quality, accuracy, and consistency of content, uphold editorial guidelines, edit and publish content, provide feedback to writers, and ensure uniformity across content types. Manage a pool of freelancers, oversee their performance, and collaborate with SEO teams to optimize content. Contribute to content ideation and planning, and identify ways to increase engagement and effectiveness. This role requires proven experience in online casino content and native-level English skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with online content in the Casino, Poker, or broader Gambling industry
  • Native-level English speaker with exceptional editing, writing and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of editorial quality control across formats and a natural attention to detail
  • Experience working within a CMS and using HTML and digital publishing tools
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and manage stakeholders across teams and geographies

Responsibilities

  • Own the quality, accuracy, and consistency of casino content across all English-speaking geos
  • Uphold and enforce editorial guidelines, refining existing and newly commissioned content for grammar, clarity, tone and structure
  • Edit and publish externally commissioned content via our CMS in a timely and efficient manner, aligning with commercial objectives and SEO strategy
  • Provide editorial feedback and support to in-house writers, content specialists, and freelancers to ensure a consistent voice and high editorial standards
  • Ensure uniformity across different content types, including formatting, tone of voice, branding and structural presentation
  • Liaise with and manage a pool of experienced freelancers, commissioning original content to meet ongoing editorial and commercial goals
  • Oversee and report on freelancer performance, budgets and KPIs, and suggest improvements to workflow, processes and team coordination
  • Collaborate with SEO teams to optimise copy and data-driven content for on-page performance, incorporating internal recommendations where appropriate
  • Take part in content ideation and planning sessions with content leads, SEO and product teams, contributing creative input and process improvements
  • Identify new ways to increase engagement and content effectiveness, whether through content innovation, improved production processes, or better user alignment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword placement, meta data optimization, and content structure
  • Familiarity with conversion-focused copywriting principles
  • Hands-on experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent
  • Strong grasp of ranking factors, content intent and user experience as they relate to search engine performance
  • Experience creating and shaping editorial products, such as templates, guidelines, or frameworks for scalable content delivery
