As a senior team member, you'll also provide strategic insights, deliver client onboarding sessions, and support data-driven decision-making. Requirements
- At least 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including managing lost time claims, litigated claims, and conduction loss reserve analyses
- Proven experience conducting claim reviews directly with policyholders and their agents
- Knowledge or experience with Return-to-Work protocols and programs
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering presentations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members at all levels
- Proficiency in Google Suite (e.g. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Proficiency in creating pivot tables and charts in Google Sheets
Responsibilities
- Manage claims for Kinetic policyholders, including claim reviews, reserve analysis, and closure strategies to minimize policyholders’ total cost of risk
- Identify high-risk policyholders and collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to implement risk mitigation strategies
- Facilitate return-to-work programs to reduce claim durations and improve injury recovery outcomes
- Deliver best-in-class customer service to policyholders and internal teams to enhance claims processes and program effectiveness
- Conduct client onboarding sessions, including training on Kinetic’s product offerings and carrier portals, in cases where a Policyholder Success Manager is not assigned
- Provide on-demand consultations to policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders to address claims-related concerns
- Update and maintain accurate records, reports, and applications to ensure data consistency
- Analyze claims data and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to management
- Support product improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities for optimization
- Lead or contribute to special projects that align with broader company goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at an Insurtech company or MGA
- Experience plotting and visualizing data in a business intelligence platform such as Tableau or Looker
