Requirements

• 8+ Years Experience
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, cloud-native design, and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of enterprise system integration
• Located in Canada, preferably near the Toronto area, and be open to occasional travel to Waterloo

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable solutions using AWS services: Lambda, ECS, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudFormation
• Design and manage DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch)
• Lead the development of event-driven architectures and distributed systems
• Enforce best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified Data Engineer
• Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka (bonus)
