Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, requiring 8+ years of experience and U.S. citizenship. The role is remote but work must be performed within the U.S. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to spearhead secure cloud projects for a federal government client.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory
• Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work
• MUST RESIDE in the U.S. and work MUST BE PERFORMED in the U.S

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with key stakeholders to spearhead secure cloud projects that align with client objectives and regulations
• Deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef, with a primary focus on AWS
• Conducting thorough security assessments, testing, and compliance checks to guarantee that all infrastructure meets or exceeds federal and industry standards
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Leading the transition to cloud-native and smart transition practices, enhancing infrastructure efficiency and scalability
• Actively participating in Agile project teams, contributing to project deliverables and fostering continuous improvement in DevSecOps practices
• Supporting production applications or workloads in a cloud-based environment, emphasizing the importance of automation in operational tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Government sector experience, especially with DHS, and current public trust clearance
