Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related fields
• Proven expertise with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or related languages
• Practical experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud expenditures
• Excellent communication, initiative, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, focusing on reusable configurations for rapid deployment
• Implement automation for provisioning, scaling, and disaster recovery with minimal manual intervention using scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Bash
• Lead cloud-related initiatives, providing technical expertise and aligning goals with cross-functional teams
• Deploy and refine observability solutions to ensure high availability and proactive monitoring
• Optimize resource management by retiring unused resources and collaborating on cloud spending transparency
• Integrate security best practices into infrastructure designs and conduct compliance reviews
• Stay informed on emerging cloud technologies and propose system enhancements for robustness and efficiency
