Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in network security with a focus on cloud architecture and governance (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, WAFs and load balancers in cloud environments
  • Deep understanding and practical application of zero trust strategies, like NIST Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and hands-on experience with industry leading zero-trust technologies
  • Defining frameworks for risk assessment and threat modeling

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement secure network architectures for cloud environments, aligning with best practices and organizational needs (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Establish and implement security policies, standards, and governance frameworks to align with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and strengthen cloud security posture
  • Deploy, lead and maintain Network Security infrastructure including IDS/IPS systems, Sinkholes, Honeypots, etc
  • Perform threat modeling and risk assessments
  • Mentor and train internal teams on secure cloud practices and promote a culture of security awareness
