Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Summary

Join LTK as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help secure the infrastructure supporting our global business. Design and implement scalable security controls within our AWS environment, lead Zero Trust architecture maturation, and collaborate with engineering teams. You will embed cloud security into CI/CD pipelines, define security best practices using IaC, and conduct security reviews. Ensure robust data security practices, including encryption. This remote U.S.-based role requires 5+ years of security engineering experience with a focus on cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native environments (preferably AWS)
• Deep understanding of AWS security services
• Hands-on experience with Zero Trust principles and tools—preferably Zscaler ZPA
• Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, including secure design and automation of infrastructure components
• Familiarity with secure infrastructure CI/CD practices, container security and secrets management
• Strong scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
• Experience working cross-functionally with platform and software engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable security controls across our AWS environment
• Lead efforts to mature our Zero Trust architecture, including the configuration and policy design of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
• Collaborate closely with platform and software engineering teams to embed cloud security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native services
• Help define and enforce security best practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Partner with IT and Engineering to drive secure authentication, authorization, and access management initiatives across our cloud environments
• Conduct security reviews of new services, tools, and infrastructure changes to ensure alignment with LTK’s risk tolerance and compliance objectives
• Ensure robust data security practices, including encryption at rest and in transit and secure key management
