Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Summary

Join Vizrt's growing security team as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer. You will play a key role in shaping Vizrt's cloud security strategy, ensuring compliance with the highest standards. This position offers the opportunity to design, implement, and enhance cloud security controls across AWS and Azure, mitigate risks, and collaborate with R&D teams. You will lead incident response efforts, define security policies, and develop automation tools. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of cloud security experience, strong understanding of IAM, network security, and cloud-native tools, and experience with security automation and SIEM. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with hands-on expertise in mainly AWS plus Azure
• Strong understanding of identity & access management, network security, and cloud-native security tools
• Experience with security automation, SIEM, and threat detection in cloud environments
• Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD security practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and drive security initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive security mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance cloud security controls across AWS and Azure
• Identify and mitigate cloud security risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Integrate current security tooling and identify potential gaps in our cloud security controls
• Collaborate with RnD teams to embed security best practices into cloud infrastructure
• Lead incident response efforts related to cloud security threats and misconfigurations
• Work with internal stakeholders to define and enforce security policies
• Own and drive cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure
• Develop automation and security tooling to reduce manual effort to strengthen cloud security
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud security threats and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud security certifications are appreciated, but are not mandatory
• It is an extra bonus if you have experience with hands-on penetration testing of cloud environments
