Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer at CEF's IT department. The position requires experience with TypeScript, AWS SDK/AWS CDK, and a range of AWS services.

Requirements

• Experience with TypeScript development
• Hands-on experience in AWS SDK and AWS CDK
• Aptitude for mentoring and supporting other members of the team in a cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain custom SKDs, CDKs, authentication services, and CLIs to enhance developer productivity and platform capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored cloud solutions to empower them to excel
• Establish, revise, and encourage best development standards and practices
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with either Vue or React
• Experience with various authentication methods
• Familiarity with integrating and utilising AWS Bedrock Services
• Experience or interest in developing conversational interfaces such as chatbots and voice assistants
• Experience or interest in context-specific data augmentation techniques for large language models
