Requirements
- 5+ years in sales compensation, finance, or data analysis in a B2B SaaS or tech environment. Ideally has developed and executed GTM (Sales) commission plans before
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- High Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt to rapid changes
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage compensation plans (with the primary focus in sales teams comp plans) that align with company goals, incentivize performance, and attract top talent
- Analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation programs, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Build compensation models and conduct scenario analysis to forecast the financial impact of different incentive structures
- Identify and implement process improvements within the compensation administration cycle to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations teams to align on compensation strategies and ensure smooth execution
- Create regular reports and dashboards for leadership to track performance against compensation plans and ensure alignment with financial targets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards for compensation, and conduct audits to maintain plan integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or similar advanced degree
- Experience with Salesforce, Xactly, or other sales compensation software
