Summary

Join Immersive's Cyber Resilience team as a Senior Crisis Simulation Designer, playing a pivotal role in the success of its Crisis Sim product and the development of its Cyber Drill solution. As a subject matter expert, you will shape product strategy, engage customers, and create world-class custom simulation experiences. You will collaborate with customers to understand their needs and translate those insights into tailored crisis scenarios. The role involves creating rich media, understanding AI concepts, and consulting, designing, developing, building, and delivering simulations. This critical role directly contributes to revenue growth and customer success. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders, including the Cyber Resilience Team, Security Engineering Consultants, Customer Success Team, Product Team, Product Marketing & Cyber Drills team, Revenue, Customer Marketing, & Community Teams, Customers, and Partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting engaging tabletop crisis simulations and a passion for developing realistic and impactful learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Possess 4+ years of experience designing and creating crisis management and incident response exercises
  • Demonstrate experience in capturing requirements and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives within deadlines
  • Provide evidence of effective cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals
  • Have experience working in a demanding and agile environment, managing changing priorities and competing demands
  • Demonstrate experience working with large, global, or government organizations
  • Have experience developing threat and risk-based scenarios for large organizations
  • Possess knowledge of Incident Response (IR) frameworks and Crisis Management structures and strategies, particularly in large organizations (cyber and non-cyber)
  • Show familiarity with Business Continuity Planning frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO standards, DORA, GDPR, PCI -DSS, etc.)
  • Be able to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level summaries under pressure
  • Be able to create exercises for C-Suite engagements and create C Suite-level after-event reports on post-simulation and make recommendations to prove and improve
  • Be able to create exercises for wide company engagements, translate the results to after-event reports on post-simulation and make recommendations to prove and improve
  • Be able to self-project manage and deliver first-class deliverables on time in a high-tempo environment
  • Demonstrate understanding of human factors, human vulnerabilities, and behavior change principles
  • Possess knowledge of common enterprise-level organizational structures
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to confidently facilitate exercises for diverse audiences

Responsibilities

  • Be embedded within the Cyber Resilience team and serve as a premium consultant to create Crisis Sims for the team's programs
  • Create compelling simulations for presales proof of concept or proof of value for Security Engineering Consultants
  • Provide the Customer Success Teams globally with SME guidance and support in Crisis Simulation design, creation, and implementation
  • Assist in creating industry-leading Crisis Sim and Cyber Drill solutions and help maintain the catalogue of Crisis Sims for the Product Team
  • Provide insights into the competitive landscape, industry trends, and strategic recommendations for product positioning to the Product Marketing & Cyber Drills team
  • Create compelling 'event' crisis simulations and thought leadership content for marketing initiatives and community engagement for the Revenue, Customer Marketing, & Community Teams
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality catalogue of crisis scenarios, provide customer enablement, and support the delivery of custom exercises for Customers
  • Collaborate with partners and the enablement team to provide subject matter expertise and guidance for creating Crisis Sims
