Summary
Join our team as a seasoned Cybersecurity leader, making strategic business decisions related to cybersecurity and risk management. You will leverage extensive experience with cybersecurity methodologies and Microsoft products (Security, Defender, Purview, Exchange Admin Center, Intune) to enhance our security posture. Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks and guidelines within the Microsoft suite. This role requires proven leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. You will manage projects, respond to security incidents, and collaborate with a small team. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to continuously improve our security measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or five to seven years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership roles, with a focus on Microsoft products
- Ability to make strategic business decisions related to cybersecurity and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity methodologies and best practices
- High attention to detail, self-motivated, responsible, and an excellent communicator
- Ability to work well within a small team setting
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects to successful completion
- NIST Implementation: Experience implementing NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) cybersecurity frameworks and guidelines
Responsibilities
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Security, Defender, Purview, Intune, and other Microsoft products to enhance and maintain the security posture of our organization
- Implement and manage cybersecurity methodologies to protect the organization's digital assets
- Configure and manage Microsoft security products to ensure optimal performance and security
- Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Utilize project management skills to implement changes and improvements within the organization, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope
- Work closely with a small team of cybersecurity professionals to develop and implement security strategies
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates, reports, and recommendations
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security measures
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus
- Experience with network security, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning is preferred
