Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join us as our first in-house data hire and take full ownership of our data infrastructure, building scalable ETL pipelines and actionable dashboards. You will integrate key data sources, empowering cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions. This role offers the opportunity to lead a future data team after establishing the infrastructure. You'll collaborate with various teams, translating business needs into data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data analytics, engineering, or business intelligence, along with proficiency in various tools and platforms. This is a fully remote position with flexible schedules and competitive compensation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles
• Advanced expertise in data warehouse management (e.g., BigQuery (mainly), Snowflake, Redshift)
• Proficiency in ETL pipeline tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, dbt) and strong SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Data Studio, etc) for creating actionable dashboards
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and data sources, including Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, TikTok, etc
• A proven track record of working independently to build and optimize data systems from the ground up
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Build and Own Data Infrastructure
• Design, implement, and manage a scalable data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Stitch) to integrate data from multiple sources, including Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and more
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all systems through rigorous validation and testing
• Develop Business Intelligence Solutions
• Build actionable dashboards and visualizations using Looker or Looker Data Studio
• Partner with teams to identify key metrics and create tailored reports for: Operations & Logistics: Inventory forecasting and marketplace performance tracking. Growth Marketing: Spend plan forecasting, creative optimization, and channel performance insights. Marketplace Team: Multi-platform performance dashboards (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop). Customer Experience: Tools for improving customer communication and satisfaction
• Collaborate with Vendors and Cross-functional Teams
• Work with existing data vendors to ensure smooth transitions and integrations into in-house systems
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, customer support, and creative teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Lay the Foundation for Team Growth
• Prove the value of a robust data infrastructure by delivering measurable results and driving efficiency across teams
• Create documentation, processes, and frameworks that can scale as the data function grows
• Recruit and mentor a team once the foundation is established

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in DTC and multi-channel marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, TikTok Shop)
• Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning to enhance forecasting capabilities
• Familiarity with email/SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive)
• Experience working with APIs and custom integrations
