Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related roles in the healthcare technology industry
- Strong experience with healthcare data
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and database technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R or similar
- Strong understanding of modern data stacks, architectures, and tooling
- Knowledge of data governance, coding standards, testing, and code review best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing technologies such as dbt, Fivetran, and Snowflake
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Mode
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design scalable solutions to support business objectives and enable data-driven decision-making
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to integrate and standardize data from various sources
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytics solutions using modern technologies and frameworks
- Follow and build upon best practices, including data governance, coding standards, documentation, testing, and code reviews
- Ensure data quality, reliability, integrity, and consistency across all data processes and systems
- Empower stakeholders with data!
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques
- Experience with data governance, compliance, and security practices
