Senior Data Conversion Consultant-Programmer

Summary

Join Jenzabar's Professional Services team as a Senior Data Conversion Consultant - Programmer! Collaborate with higher education clients and internal teams to execute Jenzabar software implementations and custom programming solutions. You will be responsible for the successful transformation of customer legacy data, requiring a strong understanding of application and database requirements. Develop SQL scripts, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. This role demands strong T-SQL skills and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years T-SQL experience, including knowledge of stored procedures, indexing, and script optimization
• ETL experience
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL scripts based on mapping documentation to transform client legacy data, from one or more sources, in preparation for Jenzabar software implementation
• Adhere to project timelines and execute work outlined in project plans and resulting from client engagements
• Communicate frequently and effectively with clients and internal teams to provide status updates, identify risks and roadblocks, and obtain information as needed to keep projects on track
• Own tasks fully, documenting feedback and updates in project tracking software, ensuring successful hand-offs to internal teams and clients
• Provide time estimates for custom tasks outside of original project scope
• Work with the data conversion manager to improve data conversion process and streamline client experience
• Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an Accredited College/University or experience in the higher education industry
• Experience with Jenzabar software
