Summary
Join Analytica as a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to a significant federal data transformation initiative. This remote position involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines for US government clients. The role centers on migrating data from legacy systems to a cloud-based analytical environment using platforms like Databricks and AWS. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data pipeline development, ETL engineering, or backend data integration roles
- Demonstrated hands-on development experience in data transformation and loading into Databricks, PostgreSQL, and/or AWS DynamoDB
- Experience with government data systems or working in federal environments
- Familiarity with compliance and security practices relevant to IRS or other federal data systems
- Must have active IRS MBI Clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Informatica, and other cloud-native solutions
- Develop data pipelines to feed API-accessible databases and support operational/transactional systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Leverage a variety of data integration and transformation tools, including Databricks, Informatica ETL, and AWS-native data services such as Redshift, RDS, and DocumentDB
- Work collaboratively with product teams, project leads, and data customers to gather data needs and pipeline requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
