Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in data engineering and architecture, with the ability to follow software engineering best practices
- Experience in building in-house solutions to address common data engineering patterns
- Proficient in CDC, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Trino, and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of data lakehouse design and technical integration with products
- Passionate about data democratization, making data accessible and useful across the organization
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative data solutions that enhance automation, efficiency, and productivity for data practitioners across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and develop in-house data solutions that meet organizational needs
- Lead the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge technologies to optimize our data and machine learning processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data management tools (e.g. OpenMetadata) and/or MLOps frameworks (e.g., Metaflow, Kubeflow)
- Previous experience in a cloud-based infrastructure, preferably using AWS stack is a plus
- Experience with scalable data processing and storage solutions (e.g., S3 Management, Trino, Hive Metastore) is a plus
