Summary
Join InfluxData as a Senior Data Engineer to maintain and enhance our data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data across the business. You will collaborate with the Growth Analyst to support our Product-Led Growth strategy, troubleshoot data issues, and develop data models using DBT. This role requires expertise in Snowflake, Domo, SQL, and Python, along with a strong understanding of the data analytics stack. You will work independently and manage multiple priorities while collaborating with stakeholders. Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Domo
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python languages
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing
- Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple priorities
- Strong debugging and data troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines across multiple sources including: Product telemetry, CRM data, Billing systems, Marketing and user behavior tools
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data reliability, accuracy, and performance
- Develop and manage data models and transformations using DBT
- Support event tracking implementation and integration using Rudderstack
- Partner with the Growth Analyst to deliver data for dashboards and reporting in Domo
- Ensure data integrity in Snowflake and assist with warehouse optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and data governance processes
