Summary
Join PriceHubble's Property Intelligence Tribe as a Senior Data Engineer and work on data systems driving the core services of our platform. Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and services trusted by professionals for assessing residential property values. Collaborate with backend engineers and data scientists to transform raw data into trusted insights, handling all stages from scraping and ingestion to transformation and monitoring. Navigate cost-value trade-offs to deliver value to customers cost-effectively. Develop solutions considering local specifics across 10+ countries. Lead projects from concept to launch, raise the bar for quality, and improve data pipeline performance, quality, and cost-efficiency. Maintain and monitor data systems, focusing on simplicity and practical solutions. A product-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- AI fluency. You use AI tools daily in your development workflow. You understand what works and what doesn't, and you know how to get better results faster
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other engineers. Clear writing is key in our remote-first setup
- Hands-on, you value writing clear, simple, and maintainable code. You understand that code is read more often than it is written
- You embrace a growth mindset. You always continue learning and always seek new challenges
Responsibilities
- Work with backend engineers and data scientists to turn raw data into trusted insights, handling everything from scraping and ingestion to transformation and monitoring
- Navigate cost-value trade-offs to make decisions that deliver value to customers at an appropriate cost
- Develop solutions that work in over 10 countries, considering local specifics
- Lead a project from concept to launch with a temporary team of engineers
- Raise the bar and drive the team to deliver high-quality products, services, and processes
- Improve the performance, data quality, and cost-efficiency of our data pipelines at scale
- Maintain and monitor the data systems your team owns
