Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Snowflake, and data storage solutions like Delta Lake or Iceberg
  • Deep understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architecture
  • Expertise in SQL and data modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that integrate data from corporate systems (CRM, Billing, etc.) into the enterprise data warehouse using Databricks, Delta Lake, dbt, and Snowflake
  • Optimize data pipeline performance and scalability, ensuring high availability and reliability across all systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring production systems are healthy and issues are resolved quickly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the enterprise data warehouse with new capabilities that meet evolving business needs
  • Build highly scalable, distributed data systems that are globally available
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data architecture
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical data infrastructure

Experience with DBT Cloud and Databricks
