Senior Data Engineer

Requirements

• Dataiku: Experience with this data science and machine learning platform
• IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud): Expertise in data integration, data management, and quality assurance
• SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL statements and their flow within IDMC, focusing on quality and validation
• Python: Basic experience required; you will collaborate with a team that includes Python experts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5-10+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a similar role

Responsibilities

• Utilize Dataiku for data preparation, analysis, and workflow automation
• Deconstruct complex SQL statements to understand data flows and transformation logic
• Migrate data to IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) ensuring quality and validation
• Use Snowflake to extract data and convert it into formats compatible with IDMC
• Work closely with the business team to validate data accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Provide support for 1-2 products, such as VSM and Flash, ensuring data-related needs are met

Preferred Qualifications

• Snowflake: Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions and its integration with other tools
• Informatica: Familiarity with Informatica tools for ETL processes and data integration
• Tableau: Experience with data visualization tools; support available from a dedicated team of Tableau resources
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to deconstruct complex SQL queries and assess data quality for migration processes
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in agile development environments, promoting teamwork and continuous learning
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to new data tools and methodologies in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus
