Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science roles with proven success in leading and delivering ML-driven projects
• Track record of building and deploying models in production environments
• Experience working with business stakeholders to drive insights and strategic decisions
• Python – Strong proficiency in scripting, data analysis, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy)
• SQL – Advanced skills in querying, transforming, and managing large datasets
• Statistics – Solid understanding of statistical analysis and inference

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to solution delivery
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced statistical models and ML algorithms aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business problems into data solutions
• Mentor junior team members, promoting best practices in data science, coding, and project execution
• Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders using data storytelling and visualization
• Contribute to the organization’s strategic goals through impactful data analysis and modeling
• Continuously learn and implement new technologies and approaches in AI/ML

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML specializations: text analytics, image recognition, graph analysis, deep learning
• Familiarity with distributed computing tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred): Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks
• Exposure to version control tools like Git, and notebooks such as Jupyter
• Data visualization skills (Power BI preferred)
• Experience with tools such as PySpark, R, SAS, C++, or JavaScript
