Remote Senior Data Scientist

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of professional experience in the Data Science field
• Have a strong knowledge of Python, R, Scala, Julia or similar typical programming languages for Data Science
• Have experience drilling into large amounts of data coming from various sources – including AWS Athena, Kafka, Spark, Flink, S3, MySQL
• Have a great business understanding and are able to connect models performance to business KPIs
• Have worked with deep learning networks in production environments
• Be able to dive deep into mathematical foundations and explain complex topics in a simple way
• Be a strong team player and enjoy helping others

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and hypothesis testing to improve our bidding algorithms
• Build and maintain models to predict user behavior (app installation, retention, etc)
• Drill into data from various sources to generate insights and discuss them with your colleagues
• Transform recurring analyses into KPIs and Dashboard Views we can easily monitor
• Act as an advocate for data-related topics in the company and become the go to person in your area of expertise
