Remote Senior Data Scientist

Requirements

• 3+ years Professional experience in Advanced Data Science
• Experience with one or more Advanced Data Science software languages (Python, R, SAS)
• Proven experience in machine learning, deep learning, optimization, and time series analysis
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, query authoring and tuning. Working familiarity with Snowflake is a plus
• Experience with Spark and data-frames in PySpark or Scala
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to pivot complex data to answer business questions
• Comfortable with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks and Vertex AI for model development and deployment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to address our clients' diverse business challenges
• Solve challenges through diverse Data Science solutions and align stakeholders on strategies, deliverables, and roadmaps
• Develop project plans with milestones, dates, owners, and risk contingency, creating and maintaining efficient data pipelines within clients' architecture using SQL, Spark, and Cloud technologies
• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet business requirements and construct analytics tools to provide actionable insights for customer acquisition and operational efficiency
• Perform data cleaning, QC, and integration on an Advanced Data Science Platform, summarizing data issues and conducting statistical analysis for decision-making
• Train, validate, and cross-validate predictive models using cutting-edge techniques and documenting results for client deliverables
