Summary

Join EquipmentShare as a Senior Data Scientist to drive ongoing projects and help shape best practices within the team. This fully remote position requires strong cross-functional communication skills and a graduate degree in statistics, computer science, machine learning, or related field.

Requirements

• Graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience, in statistics, computer science, machine learning, operations research or related field
• 5+ years working on technology-powered products as either a data scientist, ML engineer, research scientist or a closely related role
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product development
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive ongoing projects using a variety of ML, OR and statistical techniques in a full-stack data science environment
• Help to identify the highest value next opportunities for data science within a big greenfield space, work cross-functionally to plan and build, and measure your significant business impact via experimentation
• Help shape best practices within the team, along with mentoring and developing junior data scientists
