Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in data science or a related role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices for deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production
- Prior experience leading data science projects or managing teams
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to solve specific business challenges
- Use advanced statistical techniques to validate hypotheses and support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and define a data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives
- Design and build efficient data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources
- Create intuitive and impactful visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning to propose innovative solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to ensure alignment between data science efforts and business priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib)
