Requirements

• Bring deep technical and practical knowledge in Data Science to a fast-paced, collaborative environment, ideally gained over approximately 5 years of experience working on complex Data Science, AI, or a related field/projects
• Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform and its tools for Data Science applications
• Strong proficiency in Python (DataFrames, statistical modeling, machine learning libraries)
• Expertise in SQL for complex queries and data analysis
• Familiarity with different Data Science techniques: clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation and optimization problems
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, testing and maintenance
• Understand the importance of stakeholder management and can easily liaise between clients and other key stakeholders throughout projects, ensuring buy-in and gaining trust along the way
• Be resilient in ambiguous situations and adapt your role to approach challenges from multiple perspectives
• Not shy away from risks or conflicts, instead take them on and skillfully manage them
• Be eager to coach, mentor and motivate others and aspire to influence teammates to take positive action and accountability for their work
• Enjoy influencing others and always advocate for technical excellence while being open to change when needed

• Spanish proficiency is required - If you are not fluent in Spanish, strong English skills are required

• Develop and implement data science and machine learning solutions that drive business impact
• Conduct experiments, test hypotheses, and apply advanced analytics to solve complex problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into applications and tools
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Engineer features by creatively combining internal and external data sources
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making and responsible AI practices
• Ensure ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness
• Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute to the data science community
• Mentor and share knowledge while developing scalable frameworks and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Data Mesh
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, R Shiny, Plotly)
• Knowledge of other cloud providers (AWS, Azure) is beneficial but not required
